About this Position 

What you´ll do

  • Domain strategy:
  • Participates in defining the data domain boundaries
  • Participates in and provides input for the data domain strategy, priorities, and goals
  • Executes the defined data domain strategy, priorities, and goals by translating them into actions
  • Identifies and maintains the inventory of governed data assets and key data elements within the domain
  • Selects, defines, and prioritizes CDEs (Critical Data Elements) within the domain
  • Defines and populates the CDE data model, including relationships to other CDEs within and outside the domain
  • Operations:
  • Measures and follows up on Data Quality within the domain (especially CDEs) and sets KQI targets
  • Defines requirements, KPIs, calculations, and reporting standards for local data quality monitoring and dashboards
  • Analyzes root causes of quality issues and plan and track issue remediation
  • Monitors data-related incidents, resolves data inconsistencies where possible, and escalates systemic issues when needed
  • Data governance:
  • Defines Data Quality controls and issue remediation plans
  • Defines and populates business rules and metadata definitions and ensures they are added to the data catalog
  • Drives data lineage mapping and proposes a single source of truth for CDEs, including implications of source selection
  • Defines the data sharing principles for the domain
  • Supports the definition of ownership and accountability for governed data assets
  • Acts as a liaison between business users, data engineers, analysts, compliance teams, and IT

What makes you a good fit

  • Strong interpersonal communication, influencing and stakeholder management
  • Proven experience in data analysis and data-driven decision-making
  • MS Excel min. Intermediate level required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
  • Ability to manage projects and coordinate cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience in performance management metrics
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Understanding of data sources, transformation rules, and reporting processes
  • Familiarity with data quality issues and processes
  • Self-motivated, confident, and comfortable working independently

Salary: €2,000 – €2,400 gross per month. The advertised amount represents a starting salary range. The final salary will be determined based on the above criteria and confirmed after the interview process.
