We are searching for an experienced International Program Builder – M/F at our Station F facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The HEC Paris Center of Incubation & Acceleration is one of the top startups support program ecosystem with more than 200 companies supported in parallel, and currently runs several incubator, like the Incubateur HEC Paris, and accelerator programs with corporate partners such as L’Oréal, Meta and TotalEnergies, as well as with international governmental partners in Korea, Japan and India.
As part of the HEC Paris Institute, the Center contributes to the vision of making HEC Paris the best ecosystem in Europe for innovators and entrepreneurs to solve the world’s challenges. Its mission is to reveal and continuously grow talents and companies to accelerate positive outcomes on business and society.
The Center is structured around three building blocks: Programs, Community & Event and Technology.
Over the years, the Center has grown significantly, both in terms of the number of startups supported and the international programs it delivers. To further develop and scale our international programs, while continuously improving their quality and impact, we are recruiting an Associate Director in charge of the “International Programs”.
Missions
The International Program Builder is responsible for shaping, implementing, and continuously enhancing the operational delivery of international incubation and acceleration programs led by the HEC Paris Center of Incubation & Acceleration. Reporting to the Head of International Programs (Associate Director), the Program Builder plays a key role in turning program strategy into impactful initiatives and measurable outcomes for startups and government partners.
Program Design & Execution
- Design and implement workshops, mentoring sessions, networking events, and other program activities in alignment with program objectives and partner expectations.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of assigned international programs, acting as a key point of contact for startups throughout their incubation journey.
- Develop and maintain program materials, including presentations, onboarding guides, progress reports, and partner-facing documentation.
- Coordinate logistical and administrative details for all program components to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
- Monitor and track startup KPIs and milestones, document progress during review sessions, and escalate issues to the Program Lead as needed.
- Organise impactful events — webinars, workshops, pitch sessions, and official partner visits — to strengthen engagement and networking opportunities.
Operations & Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities to streamline program workflows and propose solutions to improve the startup experience and operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation, templates and operational protocols, capitalizing on best practices across programs.
- Contribute to the monitoring and tracking of program budgets and administrative requirements, in coordination with the Head of International Programs and internal teams.
- Prepare concise briefing materials and startup summaries for mentors, experts, and partners to enable targeted and high-quality support.
- Support the development of promotional assets and content (social media, newsletters, reports) to highlight program milestones and startup success stories.
Startup Support & Engagement
- Guide startups through onboarding and assist them in navigating program resources, schedules, and tools.
- Collect and assess startup needs, identify the best contact opportunities within the existing network, and expand the network of experts and business contacts based on startup requirements.
- Facilitate mentor-startup interactions, ensuring timely scheduling, preparation, and follow-up for all meetings and mentoring sessions.
- Provide day-to-day support to startups, resolving operational questions and ensuring they remain engaged and on track throughout the program.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Program Lead to align on priorities, adapt workflows based on feedback, and ensure consistent program quality.
- Coordinate with the Program Officer to ensure seamless communication and the smooth completion of administrative and logistical tasks.
- Contribute to cross-program learning by sharing insights and best practices with peers across the Center’s programs.
- Support the Program Lead in stakeholder-facing activities, including preparation for partner meetings, reporting, and program presentations.
Required Qualifications:
1–3 years of
relevant professional experience in program management, project
coordination, consulting, entrepreneurship, or a startup environment.
A genuine interest in technology,
entrepreneurship, and international ecosystems.
Strong organisational skills and a structured,
detail-oriented approach to execution.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability
to work across multicultural teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
in English; proficiency in Japanese or Korean is a
significant plus.
A proactive, autonomous mindset with a strong
sense of ownership and follow-through.
Comfort with creating presentations (PowerPoint
/Canva) and producing clear reports (Canva) and program operation tools
(Notion / Airtable).
A Master’s degree in innovation, entrepreneurship, or a related
field is preferred; international experience is a strong advantage.
