SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Intense therapeutic responsibilities begin at this level.  Educational requirements are very specific.  Decision-making skills and problem-solving capabilities are critical.  Highly developed interpersonal skills and case management capabilities must be present.

Compensation: between $50,000 and $68,316 per year (based on total years of relevant experience)
Work Schedule: Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related degree
  • LMHP or LMHC preferred, LADC or CADC in addition is preferred
  • Valid drivers license/ acceptable driving record

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • While working with a caseload of the highest degree of difficulty, demonstrates advanced clinical skills in diagnosis, intervention, formulation and implementation of treatment plan with the client’s input.
  • *Maintains client clinical record with treatment plan, client progress and termination summary.
  • *As a member of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program is accountable for responsibilities, etc. described in attached job description for ACT Team Member.
  • Displays a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
  • Cooperates and collaborates with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff.
  • *Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance.
  • Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
  • Develops personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
  • *Create, maintain and share as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
  • * Strive to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
  • * Essential functions of this job are to be performed on company physical work site or designated workspace.
  • Performs other program related duties as assigned.
