This travel assignment requires an RN experienced in PCU/Med-Surg, with the flexibility to cover multiple units as needed, in a 25-bed care environment. WA license must be ACTIVE. Applicants should be prepared to work through the holiday season with limited time off.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in PCU/Telemetry/Med-Surg areas; educate patients and significant others using appropriate modalities.
- Promote patient safety through preventative measures, side rails, safe equipment use, and adherence to isolation and infection control procedures.
- Operate and troubleshoot equipment; access manuals as needed and follow repair procedures.
- Document patient status, nursing interventions, and responses accurately; process physician orders promptly; perform 24-hour order checks when applicable.
- Deliver complete shift reports to oncoming staff; communicate with other departments and report critical lab values promptly per policy.
- Maintain and restock emergency carts, supplies, and room inventory; assume duties across departments as assigned.
Requirements
- Active Washington RN license
- Experience in PCU/Med-Surg or similar acute care settings; able to flex to multiple departments as needed
- Ability to work nights and meet guaranteed hours
- Current RN education from an approved nursing program (RN licensure required)
- Willingness to work through holiday season with minimal time off
