Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Atlanta, GA. Start date 09/08/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range is $1,682–$1,730 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts, three nights per week. Setting: hospital medical-surgical admission unit handling general medical and surgical patients awaiting surgery, with rapid patient turnover.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients, including general medical and postsurgical patients awaiting procedures.
- Perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, monitor patient status, administer medications as ordered, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the health care team to coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers on a fast-paced unit.
- Document accurately in the electronic health record, ensuring timely updates and communication with the care team.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; educate patients and families as appropriate.
- Manage a higher patient turnover with emphasis on clear communication and independence in decision-making.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia; Nursys license verification required
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg RN experience
- Certification Card on file
- Ability to communicate clearly and work independently in a fast-paced, high-turnover admission unit
- Availability for night shift; 12-hour shifts, three nights per week; 36 guaranteed hours
