Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessment information, and develop plans to achieve expected outcomes.
- Implement plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment through collaboration with the treatment team.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate appropriately and coordinate duties.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients, families, and the care team.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare disciplines to ensure quality, continuity of care.
Requirements
- License: Active Registered Nurse license in California.
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent ER or acute care experience.
- Certifications: Current BLS; ACLS and PALS required (AHA or ARC equivalents accepted).
- Additional: Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital/acute care setting; vaccination policy compliance as applicable.
