Legal Engineer, EMEA
Harvey is seeking a Legal Engineer to bridge the gap between frontier AI and legal practice in EMEA. You'll work alongside the Account Executive team as a trusted advisor to law firm partners, associates, and in-house counsel at Fortune 500 companies and private equity firms, demonstrating how AI makes legal professionals more effective while building Harvey's reputation as a credible, substantive partner.
What you'll do
- Engage with lawyers at existing and prospective customers to understand workflow challenges and demonstrate how Harvey's AI solutions address them.
- Establish credibility as an expert in solving legal problems such as database research, contract drafting, brief analysis, and due diligence.
- Lead tailored product demonstrations for law firm practice groups and in-house legal teams, validating value for each prospective use case.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop content that resonates with lawyers across different practice areas and client types.
- Act as the "Voice of the Customer, " using your legal perspective to inform sales strategies and synthesize feedback for the product team.
- Tailor the introduction of new solutions to align with specific customer needs and workflows.
- Conduct research and analysis on customers and competitors.
- Travel to customer and company offices as required.
What Harvey is looking for
- Qualified to practice law in the U.K.
- At least 3 years of experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm in the U.K.
- Executive presence and the ability to build credibility with key decision-makers at all levels.
- Outstanding presentation skills to both legal and executive audiences in impromptu and formal settings.
- Deep understanding of legal processes and the day-to-day challenges faced by legal professionals.
- Genuine curiosity about AI's potential to transform the legal industry.
- Sales, business development, or direct client matter management experience is a plus.
