Associate Commercial Counsel

Harvey is seeking an Associate Commercial Counsel to join its legal team during a critical high-growth phase. You'll lead commercial operations by executing customer agreements efficiently and partnering with go-to-market, Engineering, Product, and Security teams. This role is central to reshaping legal services at the cutting edge of frontier AI technology.

What you'll do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial AI SaaS contracts and technology and AI-related agreements.
  • Provide regulatory and product counsel to support business needs and scaling initiatives.
  • Develop training and resources for sales and cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with go-to-market, Engineering, Product, and Security teams to execute customer agreements efficiently.
  • Contribute to broader legal work, including product counseling and IP matters, as the company grows.

What Harvey is looking for

  • 3+ years of law firm and/or in-house transactional experience.
  • Active bar admission in good standing in California or New York.
  • Strong legal fundamentals and transactional background in SaaS, technology, IP licensing, commercial agreements, or M&A.
  • Ability to think creatively, function independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, service-oriented approach with a willingness to tackle new challenges.
  • Strong project management skills and a team-focused mindset.
  • Experience supporting Go-to-Market or Sales teams and familiarity with AI is a plus.
