Forward Deployed Engineer
About this role
We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join a pioneering team building a new category of technology transformation company. You'll work alongside leaders who helped found and build Palantir Commercial, deploying AI and frontier technology into real businesses to create step-change value.
What will you be doing?
Build and deploy software, AI systems, data workflows, and operational tools that solve real business problems for partner companies
Partner directly with executives, operators, and frontline users to understand how companies actually work and where technology can create the most impact
Turn ambiguous business problems into deployed technical systems — owning outcomes end to end from discovery through adoption
Co-author transformation roadmaps: deciding what should be built, what should be scaled, and what organizational changes are needed
Travel to partner sites (30–40%) to work shoulder to shoulder with management teams and users
Key Requirements
2+ years of relevant post-college work experience with a strong CS, software engineering, or technical background
Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages with ability to write high-quality, production code
AI-native working style — you use AI tools daily to write code, analyze data, and automate workflows
Strong user empathy and ability to earn trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Comfort creating structure in ambiguous environments with no roadmap or clean product spec
