Sandhill Cove is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Server (20-28 hours per week) to join our culinary team! This role provides full-scope, hands-on serving functions within the community.   
 
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:
  • Prepares service station, sets tables, and completes other opening duties as requested by the Manager.
  • Run food and drinks to tables. 
  • Assist in clearing tables in a timely manner.
  • Buss tables after guest service is complete. 
  • Attends pre-shift meetings.
  • Anticipates resident and guest needs and reacts appropriately to deliver excellent experiences. 
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Breaks down and cleans service area, and carries out other closing duties as requested by the Manager.
     

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Frequently required to stand and walk for long periods, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twist or reach.
  • Push, pull, or lift to 30 pounds on occasion.
  • Continuous repetitive motions. Periodically work in hot, humid, and/or noisy environments.

Must be available to work every other weekend both Saturday and Sunday as well as some holidays.

Starting hourly rate:  $15 - $18 depending on experience; no tipping
