Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours week. 8-hour shift, Day shift, Weekends, holidays, and events as needed
Pay: $20-25 per hour

Essex Meadows is seeking a Lead Housekeeper to join our team! This position is responsible for overseeing and maintaining a clean and presentable appearance of assigned apartments, helath center and common areas and the day-to-day operation of the Environmental Services Department.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, hallways and common areas, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all clear flat surfaces.
- Follow up on Resident concerns on the same day with a plan of resolution.
- Submit any required work orders to the Maintenance department.
- Conduct performance reviews on time for assigned Environmental Service employees
- Maintain required records and reports.
- Coordinate annual apartment cleanings with Director
- Coordinate the daily and holiday schedule fo all apartment cleaning and special project cleaning.
- Maintain monthly inventory and assist supervisor with needed supplies.
- Maintain organization of storage closets
- Assist in identifying training opportunities for housekeeping staff.
- Train new employees.
- Assist with office duties as assigned.
- Promote teamwork and a cooperative atmosphere among housekeeping staff.
Qualifications:
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
- May be required to work weekends
- Must be able to move throughout the building and grounds as needed throughout the day
- Previous housekeeping experience in a lead position is preferred.
- Must be able to lift to 30 lbs.
- Good visual and hearing acuity required;
- good verbal communication skills required.
- Must be able to see, hear and effectively communicate with residents and staff.
