Position Summary
 Hanwha Defense USA is seeking an experienced Training Lead to develop, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive training solutions for an Army ground vehicle program. This senior individual contributor role oversees all aspects of operator, maintainer, and instructor-led training development, including courseware, training media, training system requirements, and hands-on curriculum design. Develop requirements for training devices and simulators and manage the successful delivery of those productsThe Training Lead interfaces across engineering, logistics, technical publications, test, and vehicle operations teams to ensure training materials are accurate, compliant with Army expectations, and tailored to support successful fielding and sustainment of the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
 • Lead development of all training products including operator, maintainer, and instructor-led training materials for vehicle systems, subsystems, and mission equipment. Lead the development and successful delivery of training devices and simulators for the system.
 • Create and deliver training plans, courseware, lesson plans, training support packages, digital learning materials, and simulation/embedded training content.
 • Oversee development of hands-on, practical instruction for vehicle operation, troubleshooting, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
 • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure training content accurately reflects technical system functionality, updates, and design changes.
 • Work closely with technical publications and logistics teams to align training materials with manuals, maintenance data, support concepts, and sustainment strategy.
 • Provide training system requirements, inputs, and coordination for digital training tools, interactive content, simulation-based training, and embedded vehicle training features.
 • Support fielding and new equipment activities, including on-site instruction, training event planning, and coordination with Army units.
 • Participate in engineering reviews, logistics meetings, test events, and program working groups to ensure training development aligns with vehicle evolution and Army readiness needs.
 • Ensure all training materials comply with applicable Army training principles, guidelines, and instructional best practices.
 • Prepare reports, training evaluations, status updates, and supporting documentation for internal leadership and government stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
 • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, Instructional Design, Logistics, or related field.
 • Significant experience developing operator and maintainer training for military vehicles, defense systems, or complex technical equipment.
 • Strong understanding of technical training design, curriculum development, and digital or simulation-based instructional methods.
 • Ability to translate engineering data, technical manuals, and system behavior into effective instructional content.
 • Experience coordinating across engineering, logistics, technical publications, and test teams.
 • Excellent communication and presentation skills for delivering training and interfacing with Army personnel.
 • U.S. citizenship required; security clearance preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
 • Experience training tracked or wheeled military ground vehicle operators and maintainers.
 • Background in instructional systems design or modeling/simulation-based training.
 • Familiarity with Army training development practices, sustainment training expectations, or new equipment training activities.
 • Experience producing training content within a digital or model-based engineering environment.

The salary range listed for this position represents a good faith estimate of the base pay we reasonably expect to offer for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant skills/experience, education and certifications, market conditions, geographic location and internal pay equity. In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for discretionary annual bonuses, benefits, and other forms of compensation as part of Hanwha Defense USA's total rewards package.
