About this role
A simple outing can make a world of difference
As a volunteer mini-bus driver, you'll take HammondCare residents on outings in the local area, providing a welcome change of scenery and the opportunity to revisit familiar places, explore local attractions, and enjoy time out in the community.
These outings offer residents a break from their usual routine, opportunities for social interaction, and an enjoyable day out. You'll be accompanied by a HammondCare care staff member who will support residents' care needs throughout each outing.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor
Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links
between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
