About this role

Share Time in the Garden – Community Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Role

An older lady living independently in Morisset is looking for a volunteer to spend time with her in the garden.

She can no longer tend to her garden as much as she'd like and would love some company while enjoying the outdoors, along with assistance with light gardening and weeding.

Visits on a weekly or fortnightly basis would provide valuable companionship and help her continue enjoying one of her favourite hobbies.

If you enjoy gardening and a friendly chat, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
