Role Description
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for the Machine Learning and Automation organization, you will be responsible for driving execution, coordination, and communication across multiple ML teams and their software counterparts. You will own end-to-end coordination of long-term project execution, progress tracking, and data labeling operations. This role is critical to ensuring ML teams are unblocked, aligned, and delivering measurable impact.
\nResponsibilities- Track progress, risks, dependencies, and key milestones across strategic initiatives; proactively surface issues and drive resolution
- Prepare and deliver clear progress updates, metrics, and executive-ready communications to stakeholders across the company
- Establish and maintain program management best practices, tooling, and processes for the ML org
- Support planning and execution of key company-level ML and automation initiatives
- Own and coordinate data labeling efforts across multiple machine learning teams, including intake of requirements, prioritization, tracking, vendor management, and reporting
- Partner closely with Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to coordinate project execution and ensure successful delivery of organizational objectives
- Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into operational performance, model development progress, and business impact
- 3+ years of experience in technical program or project management, preferably supporting Machine Learning or Data Science teams
- 2+ years as a software developer, data analyst, or machine learning engineer
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines
- Strong experience with program management tooling; Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) and Linear experience strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Basic proficiency in Python and SQL
- Prior experience embedded directly within a Machine Learning or Data Science team
