Greenvolt Next Poland is seeking an Operations Director who will manage multiple projects across different development stages, from licensing to handover. The role includes maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, reviewing progress reports, and making adjustments to align with project goals. The Director will oversee two teams: the Project Managers Team, managing projects from licensing to handover, and the O&M Team, which will handle operations after COD for both Greenvolt's and client projects. This person will also help shape the department's strategy and recruit the teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Be part of the EPC and O&M contracts discussion and execution.
· Support the commercial director on the negotiation of EPC and PPA with Clients
· Defines and implements operations management plans to accomplish financial goals
· Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
· Reviews regular progress reports and makes staffing, financial, or other adjustments to align the developing project with broader outcome goals.
· Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
· Manages internal operations' teams and external providers
· Promotes continuous improvement of operations and commercial processes
· Aligns processes between operational, comercial, financial and legal teams
· Ensure the implementation and best pratices
· Improve and further develop the construction management IT tools.
· Support the commercial team in refining and optimizing project budgets.
- University Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related
- Minimum 5 years of experience – Relevant experience in project management, operations, or similar areas is also considered
- Minimum of 3 years on Solar Energy Market (mandatory)
- Knowledge of the decentralised energy market (mandatory)
- Knowledge on development of RE Projects
- Knowledge in PowerBI or similar
- Good leadership and supervisory skills
- Good time and stress management skills
- Sense of team spirit within different departments
- Communicates well and relays information in a timely manner
- Knows what is required in order for a particular project to be completed, and has realistic expectations as far as meeting deadlines go
- Proactivity
- Adaptability
- Strong English written and spoken skills.
