Civil Engineer Trainee IEFP
About this role
We are looking for a Junior Civil Design Engineer to join our Utility Scale Project & Engineering team and support the development of large-scale photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
Main responsibilities- Support the design and engineering of utility-scale PV and BESS projects.
- Review technical studies and reports, including topographical, geotechnical and hydrological assessments.
- Assist in the design of foundations, internal roads, drainage systems, trenches and pulling chambers.
- Support the preparation and validation of engineering deliverables, technical specifications and bill of quantities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and external engineering consultants.
- Participate in project follow-up activities from development through construction and commissioning.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools and templates.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Structures and/or Geotechnical Engineering preferred).
- Basic knowledge of civil engineering design for infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
- Understanding of foundations, drainage systems, roads and civil works design.
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proactive attitude, teamwork spirit and willingness to learn
