Greencross Vets Wishart Road is looking for a veterinarian to join our friendly team on either a casual or permanent part-time basis.
This is a genuinely flexible opportunity. You can choose the days that work for you, with shifts of varying lengths available. Whether you’re looking for a regular part-time roster or casual work that fits around other commitments, we’re happy to discuss what would suit you best.
The clinic and team
You’ll work alongside two veterinarians and three veterinary nurses who take a connected and empathetic approach to patient and client care.
Our Veterinary Director is passionate about preventative and lifelong care, including fear-free handling and palliative care. The team also has strong interests in dentistry and surgery, providing a varied environment for a veterinarian who enjoys a mix of consultations and procedures.
The clinic includes:
- Two consultation rooms
- A spacious surgical theatre
- A dedicated dental area with dental radiography
- Digital radiography
- In-house laboratory and diagnostic blood machines
- Multi-parameter monitoring
- Doppler and Bair Hugger warming equipment
- A separate staff room
The role
Our patients are predominantly dogs and cats, with the occasional pocket pet adding some variety.
This role will suit a veterinarian who enjoys an engaging caseload, values thoughtful patient care and wants to work within a collaborative team. You’ll have the opportunity to manage your cases with autonomy while having the support of experienced colleagues around you.

Location
Wishart Road is conveniently located on Brisbane’s southside, close to Westfield Mt Gravatt and Westfield Carindale. The area offers easy access to schools, restaurants and parks, with Brisbane CBD accessible via the motorway.
About you
You’ll hold a veterinary degree eligible for registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland.
