Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of warranty claims related to rail wagons, from identification to closure
- Coordinate and oversee repair activities for defective or damaged wagons within the warranty period
- Liaise with maintenance teams, suppliers, and service providers to ensure efficient and timely repairs
- Analyze root causes of failures and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure all warranty repairs comply with safety regulations, technical standards, and contractual requirements
- Monitor warranty costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of warranty claims, repairs, and resolutions
- Negotiate with suppliers and contractors regarding warranty responsibilities and cost recovery
- Provide regular reporting on warranty performance, KPIs, and claim status to management
- Support quality and engineering teams in improving product reliability and performance
- Conduct inspections and audits of repair work when necessary
Candidate Profile
- Technical degree (mechanical, railway, or related field) with experience in maintenance or warranty management
- Solid understanding of repair processes and root cause analysis
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication and negotiation skills when working with suppliers and service providers
- Analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimization and process improvement
- Fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment
