The Kids Experience Attendant is Great Wolf Lodge’s frontline ambassador of fun! They are responsible for delivering resort entertainment, personifying Great Wolf culture and exceeding guest expectations through fun and exciting daily and Holiday events
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Team
- Willingness to accept the most effective role.
- Assist Pack Members and management in delivering resort entertainment.
- Collaborate with the Retail Attractions team during downtime.
- Maintain a positive attitude with guests and staff, fostering clear communication and strong interdepartmental relations.
- Close with an open mentality.
- Keep all areas in like-new condition and website ready.
Guest
- Ensure guests are greeted and acknowledged consistently, adhering to the 10/5 Rule.
- Embody the Great Wolf brand by delivering exceptional, unique service.
- Present programs (e.g., Wolf Walk) to large audiences using visual aids and a headset microphone.
- Lead engaging storytimes, assist with guest seating, and encourage participation.
- Perform in character mascot costumes, following guidelines and interacting with guests.
- Provide entertainment such as dance parties, kids’ yoga, face painting, balloon animals, and poolside activities like DJing and tattooing.
- Assist guests with purchasing bubble wands and other merchandise, while also ensuring bubble wands are regularly refilled and ready for use.
- Inflate balloons and create balloon animals for guests.
- Stay informed on Lodge events to share accurate guest information.
- Offer attentive, respectful service to guests needing accommodations during activities.
- Handle escalated guest concerns professionally, with empathy and active listening.
- Communicate with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Financial
- Protecting company assets by adhering to policies and procedures.
- Guide our guests on various payment options for their stay including room charges, credit and debit transactions and gift cards.
Qualifications & Traits
- Deliver exceptional customer service with high energy and a fun attitude.
- Maintain enthusiasm to create an exciting atmosphere.
- ECE background or experience entertaining children is a plus, but not required.
- Able to perform mascot duties, including wearing costumes for up to 20 minutes.
- Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Committed to exceeding guest expectations through outstanding service.
- First Aid & CPR Level C certification is an asset, but not mandatory.
Additional Requirements
Newly hired Pack Members must submit a completed police clearance to Human Resources. Employment may begin before the results are received, based on the Pack Member’s confirmation that they have no unpardoned criminal convictions. If the clearance reveals a conviction, the employer may terminate employment on a case-by-case basis, providing only the minimum notice required under the Employment Standards Act, 2000, with no additional notice or compensation.
