The Group Corporate Communications & CSR department covers internal communications, external communications, corporate branding, and CSR. Together we shape Great Eastern's reputation and publicity through the way we connect with employees, the market, and the community.
About the role
This role strengthens our internal and external communications work by reaching younger audiences effectively.
The role will also support CSR execution and storytelling, by taking what's happening on the ground in our CSR programmes and shaping it into content and narrative suited to different audiences and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Bring a younger-audience perspective to the team's messaging
- Be involved in CSR programme execution and translate on-the-ground CSR activity into ongoing narrative
- Shape CSR stories for different audiences and channels, adapting the same underlying narrative for internal, external, and platform-specific formats
- Support the review of Mandarin translations for customer communications, and where translated materials require vetting
- Work across the team's functions as needed to help stories reach the audiences they're intended for
- Diploma or degree in communications, marketing, media, or a related field
- Fluency in the platforms and content styles that resonate with younger audiences, beyond general social media familiarity
- Strong storytelling instinct
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required as the role involves reviewing translated content and supporting customer communications in both languages.
- Comfortable working with content management/production and AI tools
- Collaborative, fast-moving, and able to juggle multiple projects
- Organised and detail-oriented
