[What the role is]
[LTA/PT] DEPUTY/ASSISTANT MANAGER, BUS LICENCE SERVICES[What you will be working on]
You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the administration and regulation of bus licensing matters. The key responsibilities include:
a) Engage and collaborate with bus operators, private bus industry and associations, government agencies and overseas counterparts on bus licensing and regulatory matters, including cross-border bus services.
b) Develop and implement initiatives to improve regulatory processes, service standards and operational efficiency.
c) Analyse industry data, operational trends and stakeholder feedback to support policy development and decision-making.
d) Review and enhance legislation, licensing conditions, operational guidelines and standard operating procedures.
e) Prepare policy papers, management reports, briefing materials and responses to public and industry enquiries.
f) Monitor licensees' compliance with legislative and licensing requirements, and conduct investigations into regulatory breaches where necessary.
g) Develop, implement and maintain systems to support operational processes, including reviewing business requirements, conducting user acceptance testing, and managing master data and templates for daily operations
[What we are looking for]
Knowledge in any discipline with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
Possess strong communication skills with an excellent command of the English language – able to prepare and deliver clear written, verbal, and visual proposals to senior management (e.g. presentation, papers, and communications materials).
Independent and able to take the initiative to resolve issues to meet deadlines.
Team player who is resourceful, analytical, self-motivated and confident.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates without experience but display potential aptitude in the role may also be considered.
As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
