[What the role is]
As a member of our Biology Division team, you will play a critical role in conducting serological testing and collection of biological material on evidence submitted by law enforcement agencies, participate in labimprovement/research projects through digital solutions and assist in developing/validating new technologies/methods.
[What you will be working on]
- Examination for biological fluids using chemical and serological tests.
- Collection of biological material on evidence submitted by law enforcement agencies.
- Assist in lab improvement/research projects through digital solutions.
- Assist scientists in developing/validating new technologies/methods.
- Supporting laboratory administrative duties such as equipment maintenance, inventory management, procurement of consumables, and preparation of laboratory reagents/supplies.
- Adhering to stringent quality control and quality assurance protocols, and assisting in laboratory quality assurance duties such as checking for expiry dates, conduct of basic performance checking tests.
[What we are looking for]
- Must possess background knowledge in a Biology/Biomedical Science/Biotechnology (or equivalent).
- Successfully completed supervised laboratory research in project in biochemistry/molecular biology area.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
- Collaborative team player with the capability to work independently, showcasing a proactive approach.
- Proficient in digital and data analytic skill will be an advantage (e.g. Power Automate and Power Apps, SQL, Python, Tableau).
