Founding GTM Lead
About this role
This role is for a hands-on, AI-native marketer who will build GovSignals’ go-to-market foundation by wiring LLM-driven workflows and automation into a scalable growth engine; you’ll work directly with the founding team to turn technical AI capabilities into clear narratives and measurable growth. This is a founding GTM position where shipping systems matters more than managing campaigns.
What you'll do
- Build an AI-powered GTM engine with enrichment pipelines, LLM-driven personalization, and agentic outbound workflows.
- Operate and integrate tools like Clay, n8n, Zapier, Make, Apollo, Instantly/Smartlead, Lindy, Gumloop, and custom GPTs/LLM APIs.
- Run high-velocity growth experiments on messaging, channels, and ICPs, shipping daily and iterating weekly.
- Translate technical AI and product details into decks, demos, one-pagers, case studies, and landing pages.
- Design and execute end-to-end campaigns across email, paid/social, webinars, conferences, and ABM for federal primes, contractors, and agencies.
- Own funnel metrics (CAC, LTV, conversion), build dashboards, and refine strategy based on data.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, sales, and deployment to align GTM with ICPs and delivery.
What GovSignals is looking for
- 3–8 years in marketing, growth, or GTM, preferably at early-stage or high-growth startups.
- Proven experience building marketing systems from scratch: automation, attribution, and integrations.
- AI-native workflow builder who uses LLMs for enrichment, personalization, classification, and writing and who has shipped automations across platforms.
- Comfortable with APIs and automation builders even if not writing production code.
- Experience marketing AI/ML, developer tools, or SaaS and familiarity with GovTech, compliance, or federal contracting ecosystems.
- Strong communicator who can translate technical product details into customer-facing narratives.
