• The Grader - Linen at Goodwill Industries of Dallas Inc will be responsible for evaluating and sorting donated linen items to ensure quality standards are met. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's mission to provide job training and employment opportunities for individuals with barriers to employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the quality and condition of donated linen items, including sheets, towels, and other fabric goods.
• Sort and categorize linen items based on quality and usability for resale or recycling.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards for linen grading and sorting.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize the grading process and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of graded items and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Support Goodwill's mission by contributing to the overall success of the linen sorting and grading operations.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to linen grading.

QualificationsRequired Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role within a not-for-profit or charitable organization is preferred.
• Experience in handling, sorting, and grading linens or similar materials.
