Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: 5286 1301 N Dixieland Rd - Rogers, AR 72756Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayResponsible for safe transport of materials to and from donation locations. Ensures the daily transportation of donated goods, new goods, salvage, and trash. Picks up donations from bins, homes, and businesses and transports them to designated drop-off locations. Assists with coordinating the storage of donations when necessary. May occasionally train new material handlers and supervise material handlers during assignments outside the facility. Works independently and maintains confidentiality throughout the region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures proper customer service to donors, customers, employees, and supervisors.
Projects a positive company image through pleasant customer service and proper, clean appearance.
Maintains transportation logs as instructed. Ensures that all appropriate transportation logs are properly utilized and submitted to management.
Coordinates with the Donations Manager and Scheduling Coordinator on daily truck scheduling and routing, ensuring trucks are safe and adequately stocked.
Involved in the daily collection and transportation of donations from donation bins, homes, and businesses to drop-off locations.
Monitors and advises the Donations Manager of the need to order supplies as needed.
Helps keep the facility clean and hazard-free.
Drives a truck in a safe and efficient manner, complying with all state, federal, and local driving laws, as necessary.
Works as a material handler in the facility as needed.
Performs routine preventive maintenance inspections on vehicles and equipment and reports maintenance needs.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Information

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Must be able to safely operate all company vehicles. Requires travel throughout the State of Arkansas. Regular exposure to truck and forklift fumes, noise, trash, and donated goods.
