Global Graduate Program 2026-Assistant Mechanical Design Engineer (Mechanical Design)
About this role
Job Responsibilities:
1. Participate in the structural scheme design, part drawing design and assembly planning of wind turbine mechanical transmission shaft systems under guidance; deliver 2D engineering drawings, 3D models and basic design documents;
2. Conduct calculation and verification of shaft system strength, stiffness and critical speed; perform simulation analysis on bearing load, service life and lubrication; track simulation results and resolve calculation exceptions;
3. Assist in standard selection, material selection and fastener matching verification for wind turbine shaft components, and sort out selection lists, BOM and relevant technical standard documents;
4. Support prototype trial production, workshop assembly and unit testing; track processing and assembly problems of shaft components, record on-site faults, and assist in formulating rectification and optimization schemes;
5. Collect domestic and foreign technical literature and industry standards of wind turbine transmission shaft systems, organize design verification templates and simulation specifications, and assist in document archiving, version management and technical standardization.
Qualifications:
1. Majors under the category of Mechanical Engineering;
3. Proficient in professional mechanical knowledge including mechanical design and mechanical principles, and familiar with mechanics knowledge such as mechanics of materials and engineering mechanics;
4. Skilled in relevant software, and familiar with conventional strength analysis software;
5. Prior experience in mechanical transmission projects is preferred.
