What We do

Our team is a fundamental part of the Prime Brokerage & Synthetic Products Group which form part of the Prime Services business within the Securities Division. This role is focused on the buildout of analytics, logic, pricing tools and scalable workflows to incentivize optimal allocation of assets from HF Clients, improve the firm’s funding and capital efficiency and to identify trade opportunities with clients systematically. Our teams work closely with securities lending, funding and the Synthetic Product desks in pricing, conducting transactions and managing risk.

You will build systems and platforms, identify new revenue opportunities and help execute on them while working closely with Trading, Sales and Funding teams. You will establish and build on existing partnerships with colleagues across the Global Markets Division. You will enjoy a role that rewards multi-tasking, initiative and strong execution. You will not only have a direct impact on key revenue streams within Prime Services business, but also have the chance to realize additional revenue opportunities.

 

Responsibilities

As a member of this team, you will be expected to possess comprehensive knowledge of equities markets, quantitative and technical skillsets and acquire in-depth expertise regarding driving revenue, market and wallet share and capital optimization. You will be tasked with developing client pricing logic and axes accounting for inventory needs, funding and capital across both developed and emerging markets in partnership with trading and funding teams and  transforming large and complex data sets into actionable insights or optimizing pricing structures. You will also design and implement scalable solutions that support client workflows, automate operational processes that streamline client engagement and improve decision making across global platforms. On the forward, we are investing in building Agentic AI solutions to solve business problems.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters in a relevant field – Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or Finance
  • 2.5 or more years’ experience in a quantitative role
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Java, Python or equivalent language
  • Strong understanding of advanced statistics and probability.
  • A track record of solving quantitative problems and delivering results in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to work as part of a global team and deliver results quickly and demonstrate initiative
  • Knowledge of financial markets is preferred. Understanding Prime Brokerage products is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in data engineering and relevant infrastructure buildout, including data pipeline and database design.
  • Practical experience in solving mathematical/statistical/machine learning problems.
  • Ability and willingness to pick up new business and technical knowledge.
  • Ability to solve technical problems and explain the underlying ideas to a non-technical audience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of financial markets is preferred. Understanding Prime Brokerage products is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in data engineering and relevant infrastructure buildout, including data pipeline and database design.
  • Practical experience in solving mathematical/statistical/machine learning problems.
