• Build responsive, accessible, and performant frontends for AI product experiences — conversational/chat interfaces, dashboards, streaming responses, citation and source displays, and human-in-the-loop review and approval UIs.
• Design and develop backend services and APIs that orchestrate GenAI capabilities: session and state management, request routing, streaming, retries, fallbacks, and safe degradation.
• Integrate LLM/GenAI services (built by AI engineers) into product flows — token/streaming handling, latency-aware UX, graceful error handling, and feedback capture.
• Build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems and third-party APIs (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Graph, internal platforms), including structured payloads, pagination, rate-limit handling, and resilient sync.
• Implement authentication and authorization end to end: SSO/OIDC, JWT/session handling, role-based access control, and audit logging.
• Design and manage data models and storage across relational databases and, where relevant, vector/search stores; write efficient queries and migrations.
• Build in telemetry, analytics, and feedback loops to measure product usage, quality, and user trust.
• Optimize performance and cost across the stack: caching, pagination, payload efficiency, bundle size, and rendering strategy.
• Collaborate with product and design on UX patterns that build user trust in AI features (transparency, citations, confirmations, and guardrails).
• Productionize services with platform teams: CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, monitoring/observability, incident response readiness, and operational runbooks.
• Write clean, well-tested, and documented code; contribute reusable components (UI component libraries, API clients, service templates, and integration adapters).

Must have Skill Sets:

• Strong full-stack engineering skills with solid software fundamentals (APIs, testing, versioning, logging, error handling, performance basics).
• Frontend: proficiency with a modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework (e.g., React/Next.js or equivalent), responsive UI, state management, and building interfaces that consume streaming/async APIs.
• Backend: hands-on experience building services and APIs in Node.js and/or Python, including REST (and familiarity with WebSockets/streaming and/or GraphQL where relevant).
• Databases: strong SQL and relational data modelling (e.g., PostgreSQL); comfort with ORMs, migrations, and query optimisation.
• Experience integrating third-party and LLM/GenAI APIs into product experiences (streaming responses, token handling, retries, and fallbacks).
• Working knowledge of authentication/authorization patterns: OAuth/OIDC, JWT, session management, and role-based access control.
