Engineer (Fleet Management System Integration)
About this role
As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will ensure that the Fleet Management System (FMS) serves as a robust bridge between high-level port logic embodied in the Terminal Operating System (TOS) and the low-level execution of autonomous vehicles (AV).
Major responsibilities:
- On-Premise deployment & commissioning: Support on-site technical setup of technology partner’s FMS within PSA’s environment and servers. You will be involved with system bring-up, testing, configuration, and environment-specific tuning.
- Performance optimization: Analyze system data to drive continuous improvements in fleet reliability and overall operation efficiency.
- System maintenance & updates: Support the rollout of software patches and version upgrades provided by the partner, and track Day 2 maintenance issues on live systems supporting the operations.
- AV integration : You will collaborate with PSA AV test engineers and AV technology partners to integrate AVs with the FMS and diagnose any issues.
- Stakeholder management: You will work closely with our ICT department to ensure the partner's software operates within our corporate security guidelines. Work with operational stakeholders to ensure port-specific workflows are correctly configured within the FMS logic.
- Knowledge capture & documentation: Work alongside PSA and technology partner engineers to document the system's "as-built" architecture. You will create the internal troubleshooting guides and health-check checklists needed for long-term support.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field
- Possess basic proficiency and technical knowledge/experience in system development life cycles, infrastructure, integration, change management, networking, middleware and data/messaging protocols
- Possess basic knowledge of securing industrial software, including user authentication protocols, data encryption, and the importance of adhering to corporate cybersecurity hardening guidelines
- Meticulous especially regarding system logs, version control and technical documentation
- Preference will be given to those with prior experience in AV’s or FMS related applications
Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
