About this role

Responsibilities:

  • Receptionist duties such as answering phones (university operator), copying/scanning, greeting and assisting visitors
  • Maintaining a clean and organized front desk and ID station
  • Creating IDs for students, faculty, and staff
  • Managing the Student Life e-mail account and responding to guest inquiries with assistance from the Coordinator & Manager of Student Life
  • Assign & manage parking decals for students, faculty, and staff
  • Managing Lost & Found inventory
  • Manage all parking spreadsheets via Google Drive
  • Manage reserved parking signs and cones in accordance with applications submitted to Google Drive.
  • Direct incoming office foot traffic and communicate with appropriate Student Life staff members.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality regarding office visitors (Title IX appointments, Student Conduct meetings, etc.) and office communications.
  • Assist Student Life Manager in coordinating the regular maintenance of the shuttles.
  • Coordinate schedules of shuttle drivers.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Must be a current Regent Student in good standing; excellent communication and customer service skills; competence in using Microsoft Office programs; ability to research and problem solve
  • Desire to help others; willing to learn and take on new tasks
  • Occasionally be able to lift 40lbs. (various parking and student life equipment)

Salary: $14.00 per hour
