About Us
- Provide real-time Konjobal / Q’anjob’al ↔ English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.
- Interpret in immigration, legal, and administrative settings with accuracy and impartiality.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to USCIS/DHS compliance standards.
- Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge calls.
- Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality audits.
- Native or near-native fluency in Konjobal / Q’anjob’al and English.
- 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, community, legal, or government preferred).
- Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural competency.
- Excellent telephone communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 security clearance.
- Competitive pay: $28–35/hour (rare-language premium).
