- Provide real-time Bosnian ↔ English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
- Interpret accurately, neutrally, and confidentially in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts.
- Adhere to USCIS/DHS compliance and interpreter ethics standards.
- Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge requests.
- Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
- Native or near-native fluency in Bosnian and English.
- 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, community, medical, or government preferred).
- Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.
- Strong telephone communication and ability to stay accurate under pressure.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.
- Competitive pay: $25–30/hour (rare-language premium available for urgent cases).
