Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Buffet Attendants to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will maintain and service buffet stations while providing superior customer service at various high-profile events and venues throughout San Francisco.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Set up, maintain, and break down buffet stations according to company standards

* Monitor food temperature and quality, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

* Replenish food items and supplies throughout service

* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of buffet area and equipment

* Assist guests with special dietary requirements and answer questions about menu items

* Collaborate with kitchen staff and service team members

* Handle food items safely and maintain proper portion control

* Follow all health department regulations and maintain food handler certification

* Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed

Qualifications

* Previous buffet or catering experience preferred

* Valid Food Handler's Certificate required (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

* Excellent customer service and communication skills

* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Flexible scheduling required
