Indirect Materials & Services Procurement Operations Buyer (Japanese Speaker)
Ready to Build your Procurement Career?
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Operations Buyer to join our Procurement team. In this role, you'll support the purchasing of indirect materials and services, ensuring employees and suppliers receive timely, efficient procurement support.
Working closely with stakeholders across different countries, you'll help manage purchase orders, resolve supplier and invoice issues, and contribute to improving procurement processes.
In your role, you will be responsible for:
· Create, update, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) using SAP Ariba, SAP and SRM.
· Support sourcing activities within approved limits.
· Follow up on PO approvals, deliveries, and supplier inquiries.
· Resolve invoice and price discrepancies with suppliers and Accounts Payable teams.
· Maintain supplier and procurement master data accurately.
· Support requestors and suppliers with procurement-related queries and issues.
· Monitor procurement transactions to ensure compliance and service quality.
· Handle quality and process-related issues and drive resolutions.
· Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and user experience.
· Collaborate with global stakeholders across different markets and functions.
Your professional profile includes:
· Minimum 2-3 years of working experience, ideally in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
· Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1 or N2) and English, both written and spoken.
· Experience with SAP Ariba, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
· Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
· Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· A team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment.
