People Operations & Advisory (POA) 

You will advise and support recruitment, employee life cycle activities, mobility, payroll, and benefits related matters by designing and implementing simple, and efficient systems and processes.

We are looking for a suitable Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join the POA team as an Associate / Assistant Vice President (Contract) for a 12-month duration.

 

 

What will you do as an Associate/AVP, Payroll & Benefits Specialist (Contract)?

  • Manage and administer the payroll for the Singapore Office independently
  • Support and administer the benefit program for Singapore, including the time-off system.
  • Manage and liaise with the statutory boards (where required) to process the childcare leave, NS leave claims etc
  • Response to queries from staff on payroll and benefit related matters.
  • Build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders (for eg the Reward policy team, HR Business Partners), collaborate with them to develop solutions for policy implementation.
  • Participate in adhoc HR projects and other related assignments, which include annual HR activities annual salary and bonus reviews, performance appraisal exercises.
  • Ideate, design and drive process improvements and automation to achieve operational excellence.

 

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role? 

  • Degree in any discipline, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in administering payroll and benefit program.
  • Commitment to teamwork and excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity and professionalism in all aspects.
  • Possess strong customer focus attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail is a must.
  • Strong follow-through and ownership over tasks and issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Excellence knowledge in using Microsoft suite of applications, in particular Excel, as well as HR-related systems.
  • Prior experience in a HR payroll and/ or SuccessFactors system is an added advantage.
