The Role

Monroes are seeking experienced Floor Staff to join their existing team. There are part time and full time positions available.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring excellent customer service at all times within the bar and restaurant floor.

• Taking orders accurately and reporting any issues to your line manager

• Have a good knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, ingredients and allergens.

• Provide customers with information and recommendations regarding menu items where appropriate.

• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.

• Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure they are satisfied with their experience.

• Process customer payments accurately and handle cash/card payments in line with company procedures.

• Clear and reset tables efficiently and maintain a clean and tidy dining area.

• Ensure tables, chairs, service areas and other customer-facing areas are maintained to a high standard.

Requirements

• Ideally, candidates will have some previous experience working as floor staff but all candidates will be considered

• Enthusiastic, customer-focused and friendly with the ability to work under pressure

• Excellent communications skills
