Job Description
- Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding structures at oil & gas facilities according to approved drawings and engineering specifications.
- Inspect scaffolding materials and equipment to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards before and after use.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to plan scaffolding requirements for ongoing projects.
- Ensure all scaffolding work complies with company policies, OSHA, and other regulatory safety standards.
- Assist in the rigging and lifting of materials and equipment as required.
- Maintain proper documentation of scaffolding inspections and any safety incidents.
- Identify potential hazards and take corrective actions to prevent accidents.
- Perform general labor duties related to construction activities when required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, ITI or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
- Valid scaffolding certification (e.g., CISRS or equivalent).
- Knowledge of scaffolding standards, load capacities, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret scaffolding drawings and specifications.
- Physically fit and capable of working at heights for extended periods.
