We are looking for skilled and experienced Geostructural Engineer to provide technical expertise on projects and contribute to geostructural assessments, calculations, design drawings, technical specifications, and reporting.
Role Purpose: Deliver technical solutions for geostructural projects, design engineering systems, manage project delivery, and ensure client needs are met through GHD’s standard practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise on geostructural projects.
- Develop design packages including models, calculations, specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Perform site surveys and inspections and prepare site condition inspection reports.
- Prepare project proposals and detailed sketches.
- Plan and coordinate project outcomes with inputs from various offices and suppliers.
- Manage projects in accordance with client briefs and invite client feedback.
Experience and Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a civil engineering discipline.
- Understanding of geotechnical and structural engineering principles.
- Experience with shallow and deep foundations, earth retention systems, ground improvement methods, excavations, and underground structures.
- Proficiency in soil-structure interaction modeling and slope stability analysis.
- Preferred experience with PLAXIS 2D/3D, Slide2/3, LPile, CLiq, and Settle3
