fonctionnelle, la conception logicielle, le développement, les tests, ainsi que l'intégration et le réglage des applications dans les domaines des
systèmes électriques (réseau, production, distribution et marchés de l'énergie)

The Power System Engineer will be part of the Application Engineering team delivering software solutions in the Energy domain. He will be in
charge of implementing advanced applications for Energy Management System and DERMS (Distributed Energy Resources Management
System); which includes functional design, software design, development & testing, and application integration and tuning in the power
system domains (network, generation, distribution, and energy market areas).

Rôles et responsabilités

-Effectuer le réglage des applications de systèmes de puissance, l'analyse des résultats, ainsi que l'analyse et la correction des défauts.

-Assurer l'interface technique avec la R&D pour l'évolution de la solution standard afin de répondre aux besoins métier de nos clients, et pour le support lors de l'investigation et la résolution des problèmes liés aux produits.

-Apporter un soutien au responsable de livraison de projet concernant les plannings, les estimations de coûts, l'évaluation des risques.

-Établir et développer des relations avec les clients et les partenaires sur des problématiques générales et spécifiques liées à son domaine d'expertise fonctionnelle.

Qualifications et prérequis

-Diplôme d'ingénieur en systèmes de reseaux electrriques avec de solides bases en électrotechnique (Master ou Doctorat).

Job Description

-Très bonne connaissance du domaine des systèmes électriques, notamment en modélisation et analyse de réseau (ex : calcul de repatytion, estimateur d'état), incluant les ressources énergétiques distribuées (production décentralisée, stockage d'énergie, effacement, etc.) et la gestion de la production d'énergie (contrôle de régulation, réserves...).

-Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale ; aisance indispensable dans la présentation de conceptions et de solutions techniques devant les clients (anglais et français obligatoires).

-Bonnes compétences en programmation (C++, Python). La connaissance de Kubernetes est appréciée.

------------------------------------------- Roles and Responsibilities

-Performs power system applications tuning, results analysis, defect analysis and correction.

-Ensures the technical interface with R&D for the evolution for the standard solution to meet business requirements from our customers, and for the support of product issues investigation and resolution.

-Acts as technical lead on specification, design, development, implementation, tuning and maintenance of software for the power system applications.

-Provides input to project delivery manager on schedules, cost estimates, risks evaluation

-Interfaces and develops relationships with customers and partners on general and specific issues within area of functional expertise.

• Qualifications/Requirements –

- Power system engineering or software engineering with good electrotechnical basis – PhD or Master degree.

-Very good knowledge in power systems domain, particularly in network modelling, network analysis (such as power flow, state estimator) including distributed energy resources (decentralized generation, power storage, energy curtailment…), and power generation management (regulation control, reserves...)

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be comfortable in presenting technical design and technical solutions to clients/customers (English and French mandatory).

-Good programming skills in C++, Python. Kubernetes knowledge appreciated
