Description
Essential Duties:
- Removes bearings and related hardware including bolts, washers, and nuts.
- Cleans hardware and other components in an aqueous or solvent based machine.
- Removes paint occasionally with a dry system such as bead blast.
- Assist other technicians with component repair
- Assists other departments when necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
Skill, Qualifications & Experience:
- No previous technical experience is required
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English. Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines, manage a large volume of communication and be a team player.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities for moderately complex issues.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Computer literate. and proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Strong analytical and decision making skills with ability to exercise informed risk taking in order to make judgment calls
- Ability to prioritize and to work without close supervision.
- Ability to read prints, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electric and mechanical machinery
