Digital Process Optimization Engineer

Responsibilities / Tasks
You will work at the intersection of process engineering, automation, data analysis, and customer collaboration. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implement and commission digital optimization solutions at customer sites.
- Analyze production processes and configure control strategies to improve performance.
- Monitor software performance and production results to identify improvement opportunities.
- Analyze operational data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Provide proactive guidance and technical support to customers.
- Train customer personnel in the use of GEA's digital solutions.
- Collaborate with GEA process and automation experts to ensure successful deployment and long-term customer value.
- Prepare performance reports and recommendations.
Your Profile / Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Interest in industrial processes, automation, and process optimization.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following is an advantage:
- Process control and PID tuning
- Data analysis using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools
- Industrial production systems
- Strong communication skills in Danish and English.
- Structured and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license.
As a person, you are curious, analytical and good at building and maintaining new relations with colleagues, customers and stakeholders.

Travel
The role includes approximately 30 travel days per year, primarily within Europe, with occasional travel to other regions.
