Job Summary

As a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor, you will play a key role in producing advanced jet engines, components, and integrated systems that power commercial and military aircraft worldwide.

In this role, you will lead daily production operations at our Loves Park facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent execution across the production line. You will oversee a team of approximately 20 hourly employees, including Machinists, General Assemblers, and Lab Technicians, while driving performance in safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ability to work 2nd shift schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 10-hour days, starting at approximately 4:30 PM Central.
  • Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, and production targets
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of approximately 20 hourly employees across machining, assembly, and lab operations
  • Foster a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor production flow and operational performance to ensure reliability and consistency on the line
  • Partner with production planning to execute schedules and meet customer and business commitments
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and drive corrective actions when needed
  • Train employees on required skills, processes, and standard work to support operational excellence
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance
  • Troubleshoot production issues and work cross-functionally with maintenance and support teams to minimize downtime
  • Communicate production results, gaps, and recovery plans to leadership and stakeholders
  • Make timely, independent decisions to maintain momentum and support shift performance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with minimum of 1 years of professional experience OR associate’s degree with minimum of 3 years of professional experience OR a high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience

  • People leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced operating environment
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for daily operations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive execution, and solve problems in a production setting
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience leading teams in machining, assembly, or other industrial production operations
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in aerospace or other highly regulated industries
  • Ability to analyze production data and use insights to improve operational efficiency
  • Proven ability to motivate teams, develop talent, and build a strong performance culture

The base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
