Job Summary
The Special Deposits Relationship Manager is responsible for generating new core deposit relationships and treasury management revenue within specialized industry segments including HOA, property management, escrow and title companies, trust and fiduciary services, professional services firms, and other deposit-intensive industries.
Essential Job Functions
Business Development & Deposit Generation
- Generate new core operating deposits and treasury management revenue through active prospecting, networking, referrals, and business development activities.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve annual deposit production goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with centers of influence including CPAs, attorneys, property managers, escrow officers, HOA management companies, trust professionals, and other referral sources.
- Maintain an active calling program focused on new client acquisition and relationship expansion.
- Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through treasury management services, payment solutions, and other bank products.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and referral sources.
- Represent the Bank at industry events, trade shows, networking events, and professional association meetings.
Relationship Management (White-Glove Service)
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients by understanding their business operations, industry challenges, and banking needs.
- Create relationship plans for key clients and prospects.
- Monitor relationship profitability and identify opportunities for growth.
- Coordinate internal resources to ensure client needs are met efficiently and professionally.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Deliver concierge-level service to high-value deposit relationships.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of treasury services.
- Anticipate client needs and coordinate internal resources to deliver exceptional service.
- Resolve client issues promptly and effectively while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Secondary Job Functions
- Advise management on potential improvements of process and/or products.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by Manager.
- Comply with all BSA and other Bank’s training and procedures.
- Keep up to date with all MSB regulations and requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of commercial deposit production, treasury management sales, or specialty relationship management experience.
- Demonstrated history of generating new core operating deposits and treasury management revenue.
- Existing network of industry contacts, referral sources, and business relationships preferred.
- Strong treasury management product knowledge including ACH, Wires, Positive Pay, RDC, Commercial Cards, Merchant Services, Pricing of Analysis Account, and Online Banking.
