Essential Duties and Responsibilities
WHAT TO EXPECT
We are looking for an ambitious, forward-thinking and sales-minded individual to join our team. You will work remotely out of a home office selling Gates products throughout Philadelphia. Products include automotive and heavy-duty belts, hoses, engine metals, water pumps and hydraulics.
This exciting opportunity offers you a chance to build sales with our existing customer base and to grow new business as we rely heavily on our Automotive and Heavy-Duty Aftermarket distribution channels to grow revenue.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBITLITES:

- Responsible for territory sales of $14+ million annually.
- Researching customer needs and developing a plan by account to increase sales of products and services.
- Take responsibility for effective communication internally and externally.
- Build trust by addressing opportunities and concerns in a timely manner.
- Implement sales strategies to accelerate growth of all Gates products in existing and new markets.
- Monitor competitive environment to identify opportunities and countermeasures to address competition.
- Perform product changeovers and new product set ups at customer locations.
- Maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets.
Requirements and Preferred Skills
ABOUT YOU
- 2+ years of Field Sales Experience or Industry Experience Considered
- High school diploma required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Understanding and utilization of CRM tools is preferred.
- Must be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excel comprehension is very important to this position.
- Ability to work flexible hours and locations depending on position and travel requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Travel required for this position is 50% - 70% as you work from a home office. Most nights are at home, with the potential of 15 - 20% of your traveling being overnight.

PAY & BENEFITS
- Full-Time
- Total Compensation (Base + Incentive) = $75,000 - $95,000
- Relocation is not provided
- Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
- Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued
- 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
