About this role

Position Summary:
•    Responsible for the completion of production line indicators
•    Supervise standardized operation of employees to ensure safe production & high quality production
 

Description
Leadership
•    Meet or exceed AOP commitments for key production metrics: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Cost and Continuous Improvement
•    Monitor and evaluate team’s performance
•    Reward and recognize individual and team performance and improvement efforts
•    Coordinate execution of production plan 
•    Provide effective leadership, guidance, coaching, communication, learning and development for all subordinated Team Leaders and Operators
•    Implements discipline processes and effectively coach people to ensure compliance with code of conduct, GEM behaviors and Standardized Work
Coaching/Mentoring
•    Use Leadership Coaching to ensure Team Leaders’ and operators’ engagement
•    Coach for adherence and continuous improvement of Standardized Work
•    Provide training for Team Leaders and operators
•    Create a work environment conducive to employee moral and motivation to accomplish performance objectives
•    Reward and recognize performance
Communication
•    Lead Tier 0 meeting
•    Communicate with Team Leaders and Operators on a daily basis 
•    Communicate daily with other shifts and peers regarding safety, quality, productivity,
•     staffing, equipment, continuous improvement activities and best practices
Standard Work
•    Develop, follow and continuously improve Leadership Standardized Work
•    Create and update Standardized Work (SOS & SCS) in the assigned area
•    Perform SOS /SCS audit, analyze results and apply related actions
•    Ensure all prescribed Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations are followed
5S
•    Implement 5S activities, train and coach the people for 5S practice
•    Perform 5S audit, analyze results and apply related actions
Continuous Improvement
•    Drives a continuous improvement culture by instilling Plan, Do, Check, Act methodology
•    Constantly search for improvement opportunities and continually seeks to eliminate waste
•    Drive and manage Kaizen process at the shop floor level:
-    promote and visually manages Kaizen process during T0 meeting
-    facilitate improvement suggestions flow
-    participate on Kaizen approval process
-    deliver regular feedback to operators
-    participate on Kaizen implementation process
-    leads Kaizen events in his/her area
People management
•    Evaluated employees’ performance
•    OT& Attendance Management

 

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Industry/Functional Knowledge, etc. ):     
•    Strong communication skills to all directions, providing timely and concise information to others
•    Demonstrates the ability to grow people, identify and develop talents
•    Takes action based by applying intuition, experience and judgment to the data available
•    Strong computer operation skill in Microsoft office 
Set up and change over
•    Find the problem point of the chang over
•    Improve on chang over 
Total productive maintenance
•    Familiar with equipment maintenance
Build in Quality
•    Support built in quality audit
•    Analyze and improve internal quality
Skills(Computer, Communication,  Leadership, Behavior, etc):
•    Strong computer operation skill in Microsoft office 
•    3~5 years’ experience in manufacturing related process
