Garrett did develop Modular Test Rig machine – endurance test bench, which could run durability on bearings for electric powertrain drive system. As work package 2 for this rig is to extend the scope about adding active control and data acquisition unit. The project scope is containing finalization of this modules to MTR in following aspects: 

• Microcontroller unit programming
• Thermocouples measurement ability
• Speed controlling of electric drive real time
• Bearing revolutions measurement sensor
• Electric drive power draw measurement
• Heating system control

Desirable Background

• Student in last year (of Masters) of electrical or mechatronic engineering 
• Hands of experience in the areas of sensing and control engineering needed
• Experience with Office Suite
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English (At least technical English level)
• Duration: minimum 6 months
