As a Garrett Engineer Strategy intern your responsibilities can include these activities:
Help drive Garrett engineering strategic priorities
Build excel and data models to help make strategic decisions
Build models to estimate should cost
Create analytical models to estimate financial budgets for engineering
Help map out the overall engineering strategy for the next 10 years
Help optimize engineering suppliers, contract workers and global employee locations and footprint
Provide support to drive Garrett engineering transformation
Expectation:
Quick turnaround of mini projects
Fast pace work
Exposure to senior leaders at Garrett
Understanding of how Garrett HQ and central decisions work
Steep learning curve on data modeling, strategy, management and leadership
DESIRABLE BACKGROUND:
Student pursuing last year of an Engineering degree
A team player personality who likes to learn and wants to achieve her goals together with others
Strong analytical and data mindset
Experience with excel and datasheets
Business and management acumen
Engineering background or experience is a plus
Good communication skills in both written and spoken English
Duration: 6-9months
