About this role

What we're looking for:

We need someone with 4+ years of experience in frontend/design engineering who has exceptional CSS skills and a strong eye for design and interaction. You should be comfortable working across design, product, and engineering in a high-performance startup environment, with a track record of shipping polished, production-quality UI. Bonus points if you have startup experience as a technical co-founder or early engineer at a Series A/B/C startup.

What you'll do:

Build and ship polished, production-quality UI across core products including a mobile app using React, Next.js, and TypeScript

Craft pixel-perfect UI details including layouts, typography, responsiveness, motion, and micro-interactions using Tailwind CSS

Contribute to shared UI foundations including components, patterns, and design tokens

Work directly with the Co-founder and CTO to deliver fast, reliable interfaces that maintain a high bar for product design

Optimize for performance, accessibility, and maintainability without compromising on design quality

Raise the bar for frontend craft through code reviews, critiques, and shared standards across the engineering team
