Overview

As a Renewal Underwriter, you'll help manage assigned accounts and support underwriting and service work for property and casualty business. You'll work closely with an Underwriter/Broker Senior, review risk details, and help decide whether to accept, change, or decline coverage. This role sits with a team that values service-minded work and shared growth


How you'll make an impact

You'll handle day-to-day underwriting and service work for assigned accounts. You'll review individual insurance applications, look at property value, location, use, and safety features, and use that information to support clear risk decisions. You'll also stay close to field partners, gather the details you need, and explain your underwriting choices with confidence.

You'll help keep accounts moving by staying organized, tracking work, and making sure service and production goals stay in view.

About You

Required:

  • A bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years of related experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • You can review information, weigh risk details, and explain decisions in simple terms.
  • You can ask clear follow-up questions and work well with field partners.
  • You stay organized when you manage several priorities at once.
  • You can handle broad assignments and bring original thinking to your work.
